CAN I STILL BE SEEN IF I AM NOT A MEMBER?
Yes , we will still see you if you are not ready to commit to a monthly membership. However, this may change in the future once the practice becomes busy. Please call or schedule an appointment online
HOW SOON CAN I BE SEEN
We aim at providing clients with same or next-day visits. If you are sick and are experiencing issues, your provider will see you more often. Whether you need us the next day or in a month, we will be there.
DO YOU COME OUT FOR EMERGENCY VISITS?
NO, WE DO NOT PROVIDE EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES. If it is a life-threatening emergency please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
CAN I CONTACT AT HOME PRIMARY CARE AFTER HOURS AND HOW?
Of course! However, we are human and can’t guarantee 100 percent availability. That said, a reasonable expectation for availability would be appreciated.
Once you become a member you obtain a personal number directly to your provider. In which he/she is available by text or phone after hours for urgent matter. However, if it is not an urgent matter and can wait until the following business day this would be grateful. If it is an emergency we do advise to call 911.

I HAVE GREAT INSURANCE, WHY SHOULD I JOIN?
Great insurance does not equate to “great” health care. Visits covered by insurance are normally rushed in 15 mins or less, while patients are only allowed to discuss 1 or 2 problems and have to return for another appointment. With AHPC Direct Primary Care, you will receive the high-quality, personal, and accessible care you need with extended appointment times and access to your providers via phone, text, or email.
SHOULD I STILL HAVE INSURANCE?
Yes. While At Home Primary Care provides excellent care and access that keeps clients healthy and prevent the need for costly medical services, we still recommend that all clients have at least a high deductible health plan to cover events such as hospitalizations, major surgeries, diagnostic imaging, labs, or extensive specialist treatments.
DO I SIGN A CONTRACT WITH MY MEMBERSHIP? WHAT IF I DECIDE TO CANCEL?
Although there will be agreements to sign when you first join, you will NOT be required to sign a contract that commits you to a certain time frame. Accounts must be paid in a timely manner to maintain membership services. We expect an open, honest, and respectful relationship with our patients. We ask you to give us a 30-day notice if you wish to cancel. We understand that things happen. If you choose to rejoin, we will gladly welcome you back.
DO I REALLY GET TO SPEAK TO MY HEALTH PROVIDER IF I CALL?
Yes, during office hours you may speak to an assistant however if you leave a message your provider will personally respond. Once you become a member you will get the provider's private direct number for urgent matters.
WILL I HAVE THE SAME PROVIDER EVERY VISIT?
We make every effort to provide the same provider to you for each visit.
THIS SEEMS TOO GOOD. IS THERE A CATCH?
No. This is the real thing. Quality healthcare the way you want it. This is just how healthcare looks when the middle-man is cut out. Keeping payment directly between the patient and the health care provider. This keeps the price low and the care high
